OMGS.
the nan hua-fuhua choir exchange was unexpectedly fun today.. T_T
it was from 8am to 4pm; that's the un-fun part. :(
first we had to usher in the fuhua choir before doing the warm-ups.. the warm-ups were very the O_O. mr lai made us dance around like monkeys and shake our hands and legs around like kukus. and made us laugh somemore. XD
later on was break, then... music appreciation hosted by none other than... MISS YEO. zomgs. actually it wasn't that bad; it would have been better if there wasn't a time constraint and she kept fast-forwarding etc so we really didnt see much. o.O
we spent half the day learning The Daffodils... sucky song. lame-chops lyrics and boliao changes in speed/volume of voice etc. -.- crapped alot with gwen, huiyun, yuhao, jocelyn x2, wenyan etc. :) you guys rock! hahahs rotting people
the best part was the a capella performance by the SAF guys! lolll, they were really good. the a capella group consisted of 4 guys- all tenors and baritones. they sang lots of songs, eg. quando quando quando, ICE KACHANG, first love by utada hikaru and FIRE! HAHA. during that song miss ong was pulled up to stage and JOANNA SERENADED HER. lmao XD
oh yes, the "joanna" actually refers to one of the guys. original name is.. jonathan i think. not sure, qutie confused. but i do know that there was a jap guy in the group, cos when he told everyone his name (toshi), all the 2 choirs started whispering excitedly and joanna told all the people that yes toshi IS a japanese. hurrhurr. "joanna" sang the highest part of the guys'; the highest, in fact, so his name was changed to a girl's. :)
