got a little bit of spare time before i've got to mug for the stupid chemistry test.

woke up slightly later today. was super tired from yesterday's SYF full-dress... i got sunburnt agaaaain! GRRRR. i know i could do with a tan but there are FOUR colours on me now! the lightest is called preheat, 2nd lightest is light heating, 3rd lightest is medium heat and the worst is chao-ta. i know the chao-ta part is a little exaggerated but i don't like having 4 colours on me. the watch tan part has turned a nice shade of pink though. hahahs.

had my first session of PBL today. it was conducted during a Physics lesson so we had to do this weird thing about a Snow Cruiser and how to design a new type, an article about a failed Snow Cruiser which apparently died in Antarctica during a tryout. i had to draw a new model of a Snow Cruiser and the model turned out to look like an SBS bus. YAYNESS. ^^ i think no more roles of designing stuff and class tee things shall be related to me next time!

bwahahahaha.

everything was running as usual. slacked during English cos some people forgot to bring their compre holiday hw, so mr tan had to do away with the idea of marking the compres in class with us. :D at around 1 plus was another ndp rehearsal, but this time it was without our 100000 kg flags and the itchy costumes, super-disgusting hair gel and knee-high socks unlike yesterday. D: the hall and parade square was too small for the actual positions. lols.

blah blah, went to mum's office for a while and then here i am. i am freaking hungry and i would like to eat NACHO CHEESIER DORITOS :D

jupo and grass were super mad that they didn't get to see him... but he's quite pleasant-looking i guess, though a little on the gay-kind-of-look side. D: hahahs, darling-est cousin cheryl jie says she sees chee yang everyday cos her class bench is next to his. but chee yang is definitely more handsome than guanzhi, whose blog title is something something I AM SO UBER YANDAO.

yesterday

had ndp, duh. was fretting cos i didn't have my costume and on wednesday is the Full Dress Rehearsal! but anyway, i had fun crapping around with yeonglan, grace and qishan. almost died due to dehydration- i told you. from this ndp i only learnt the skills of being a camel... nothing much besides that. oh yeah, the new flag looks gross and the weight of it is even worse.

today

hmm.. today was pretty enjoyable. first hour of sch was Slack Lesson, then we had this weird briefing about PBL with mr foo. recess, and the lesson(s) i had been... um, looking forward to for the whole week. D: hahahs, MATHS for like 2 hours? not literally actually, cos today was just a briefing (more briefing -_-). some notes, blah, and groups were assigned. i am with charmaine, auteets, yonghui and GZ. D: and this is our permanent group! GZ might just get away with killing me or something because he's this really political person who would probably give me a 1 out of 5 for all my credits and then try to destroy my blog if i don't give him a 5/5 for his credits. the sort of thing. lollll.

charmaine and i were watching Happy Tree Friends online and mr ng saw. he claims that Happy Tree Friends is extremely violent and apparently, little girls like charm and i aren't supposed to be watching it. i mean, really. just a couple of days ago i had this 2 friends of mine i haven't met for a long time come up to me and ask, "hey amanda! long time no see... you JC what already ah?!"

no, no, i'm already in my 50s and looking young, that's all ^^

during lunch, and for the first time since i've known him, justin said "hi" to me. i just stared and gave him a super dao smirk. errr. laughed too much during the Happy Tree Friends screening. yeonglan was having a stomachache during lunch. it was the first time, too, that i didn't see yeonglan eat during a breaktime. o_o afterwards we had some free time, granted by the oh-so-gracious :( mr ng. qishan and i watched stuff on youtube. to be exact, the Two Chinese Boys. YAYNESS. :) i'm gonna watch them later!!

i like playing LF2 with charmaine, but she insists on using firzen. i'm such a lousy player although i used julian cos i have not been playing for at least half a year. she kept attacking me with combination attacks of Fire and Ice and all i could do was to shoot this huge purple ball to make her fly off. i forgot the combos to the upwards exploding move so i died in the end. :D

i've been staring at the comp screen for the past 2 hours without having a 5-minute break, trying to complete the stupid history logbooks. i swear i'd start going on a killing spree or something if mdm yip doesn't collect it on monday.

i haven't finished all of the 4 logbooks anyway. there's still a worksheet left incomplete and another logbook, another mindmap. i can't be bothered to do the effing remaining mindmap/logbook cos the topic is too difficult to decipher.

shit, i shouldn't have been the history rep in the first place. i reckon i'd just be a wallpaper flower in sec 3. no geog rep, no lit rep, much less not the history rep.
no, nothing at all.

the stomachache isnt subsiding. i've had my medication but it's still the same, or worse. i feel bloody lethargic now and i want to sleep, but people like mr ng, mdm yip, dad and my mum apparently doesn't effing CARE and i feel like having all my medication at one go now, to save the hassle.

but my efforts contributed to my english essays and history logbooks and chinese homework etc etc would be all wasted and flushed down the sewerage.
i actually FINISHED all my cheena homework; do you damn well believe it? i took about a day to finish the whole cheena workbook, as assigned by Liang. it's ridiculous. she made us buy the workbook and we've got to slog out guts out to finish it and pass it up to her by monday or something.

the nan hua-fuhua choir exchange was unexpectedly fun today.. T_T
it was from 8am to 4pm; that's the un-fun part. :(

first we had to usher in the fuhua choir before doing the warm-ups.. the warm-ups were very the O_O. mr lai made us dance around like monkeys and shake our hands and legs around like kukus. and made us laugh somemore. XD

later on was break, then... music appreciation hosted by none other than... MISS YEO. zomgs. actually it wasn't that bad; it would have been better if there wasn't a time constraint and she kept fast-forwarding etc so we really didnt see much. o.O

we spent half the day learning The Daffodils... sucky song. lame-chops lyrics and boliao changes in speed/volume of voice etc. -.- crapped alot with gwen, huiyun, yuhao, jocelyn x2, wenyan etc. :) you guys rock! hahahs rotting people

the best part was the a capella performance by the SAF guys! lolll, they were really good. the a capella group consisted of 4 guys- all tenors and baritones. they sang lots of songs, eg. quando quando quando, ICE KACHANG, first love by utada hikaru and FIRE! HAHA. during that song miss ong was pulled up to stage and JOANNA SERENADED HER. lmao XD

oh yes, the "joanna" actually refers to one of the guys. original name is.. jonathan i think. not sure, qutie confused. but i do know that there was a jap guy in the group, cos when he told everyone his name (toshi), all the 2 choirs started whispering excitedly and joanna told all the people that yes toshi IS a japanese. hurrhurr. "joanna" sang the highest part of the guys'; the highest, in fact, so his name was changed to a girl's. :)

i managed to record the part where miss ong was seduced serenaded. not very clear though because i zoomed in to the max. x) the joanna guy, unfortunately, looks like GUANZHI from far.. although guanzhi undoubtedly has zilch of joanna's singing skills T_T

i'm currently having a bad, bad migraine and nasty stomachache and this is bringing me to the end of my tether.

yesterday was pretty good only if i hadn't ate too much char kuay teow. qishan, yeong lan, grace, brinjole, tomeyyto and i met for Video Journalism filming at clementi mrt to have lunch at mac before going to Old Airport Road Hawker Centre. we laughed really damned loudly at stuff and i could swear people around us were staring. O.o

took a train to Kallang mrt and then a cab to the hawker centre. waited for joel for quite a while before he arrived.. i think he was lost. hurrhurr. in the end joel casted tomeyyto as the second presenter.. YAYNESS! so i didn't have to memorize so many lines. :) but during the whole thing i got tongue-tied sometimes.. like how fragrance became fey-gence. LOLL. and there was this scene where joel told me to have my first mouth of char kuay teow while tomeyyto recited her lines. being a kuku, i literally did what he told me to do- i took a whole mouth and when it was time for me to talk about the opei leaf blahblah, i couldnt speak cos of the mouthful of char kuay teow. -.- i think sheryl took that as one of the NGs.. argh. D:

at around 3 plus my migraine started. i don't know what exactly caused it but the main suspects were:

1) char kuay teow overdose
2) macdonalds?
3) see too much of..

took a cab back to btp after filming. i was freaking out cos the taxi driver looked totally like osama bin laden. yeah. but i was too tired so i fell asleep in the cab and woke up only to have an heart attack (almost) when i saw the fare. i was dying by the time i met mum at the escalator- thank goodness i didn't roll down the spiky stairs. D:

a few days back mum, dad and i went to cheryl's to visit ah gong. and guess what? darryl reads that Three Kingdoms book! san guo yan yi. zomgs. i borrowed that once but never got further than the first 5 pages.. gotta ask dahli what's so interesting with that edited version. if i ever got further than the first 2 chapters of Three Kingdoms, i think qin shihuang'd be turning over in his grave...

PC FAMILY DAY!
FUN FUN FUN(:

lols. today is PC Family Day and it was uber fun :DDD

woke up at around 5 plus to change, wash up and do morning gongyo. then rushed off to West Mall taxi stand to wait for uncle eric and shandy jiejie. we took a cab to Toa Payoh Park together cos all the organisers had to be there by 7.30am. i wore my SUPER offbeat ndp shirt cos it was the only thing i could find in my wardrobe that was RED. eeyerh

helped out abit with the putting up of the banner first, then went over to do the signs on plastic chairs for various chapters. then wrote the event names on the whiteboard with san san and both of us almost died doing it. our necks practically broke after the ordeal. lols.

we were blowing up the balloons but i was standing there being an extra. the balloons burst everytime the guys tried blowing it up to the max, and the girls would scream everytime an explosion was heard. :( halfway through the balloons and at around 9.30am, huiting was like, "eh amanda! how come so early got Queenstown people come liao huh?!" and pointed in the direction of... benglee kor and twa yee and rosaline jie and ah ma! zomgs, they were the kiasu-est and the earliest, thanks to my mum. she even asked me if there was a gift for early birds.

errrr.

i was the flag bearer for Queenstown! hahahs, my own chapter. so i had to stand on a chair and wave the flag and it brought back unhappy memories of none other than NDP rehearsals. EEKS! somemore the flag was red. i think i'm so gonna take a white flag or something next time. or just the empty bamboo pole. :)

i joined wanjun's group for amazing race and was named the second marshall of the game. wanjun took Queenstown's students and youths, duh, so i could goof around with benglee kor and ivy jie, lijuan, jessica and so many others whom i've known for some time. :D we ran and ran like xiao kukus, but our hard work paid off cos we got SECOND. YAYNESS; cos we could increase Queenstown's points by quite alot. our amazing race group got 19 points out of 20. pro huhhhh. x)

later on, i played the three-legged game with mum and some other Queenstown members. mum's legs were too short; hahah! then she had to take 2 strides for every 1 stride of mine. -.- and it's not only 3-legged. one of the pair has to take a milo tin can with a huge hole underneath and carry water to the pail at the other end. the pail had to be full by the end of the whole thing or you'd be disqualified. but we did quite well despite mum's screaming and shouting xD

mum and gang set up a picnic area so we could have some food after all the running. mum overbought the muffins. she bought more than 40 and it turned out that everyone couldn't finish some of them. she told me to go around offering muffins to my friends so i walked around looking like a vendor with this huge white box of food. -.o i asked plenty of people, ranging from lijuan to san san etc. in the end, yuko-san and auntie doris had to bring back muffins to eat or our house would become a muffin house if we brought the remaining back.. hurrhurr :)

uncle tay tong was QT's representative for Kaimyo Superstar! LOL. everyone was screaming and cheering for him at the QT area. he did quite well though he didnt get champion. o.o Queenstown didn't get overall champ too; Sembawang did. the Superstar champ was also from Sembawang i guess. lol.

today i had my first henna drawing! i had it on my wrist. i also took a pic with ren ting's dog. haha, the jack russell's cute.

i stink now cos i've not bathed/changed. eeee.

i am SO tired. had tuition in the morning at 10 and it ended at around 12+. i had to reach pc at around 2.30pm, so i slacked at home before moving off. and literally SLACKED. hahahs. threw my maths aside and chucked my chem into the unknown depths of the ulu cupboard(i regret it now). :) surfed around the net and visited lots of places. the usual; reading Museum of Twits' updated posts and StudentsSketchpad. i tried out the lemonade game too! it's www.lemonadegame.com and it's super boliao. but what can you expect? it's from Bored.com! :D

over-played the tablet and ended up being late for the meeting. i was the last to reach pc.. all of them were already outside the main doors waiting for me. >< (sorry guys!). on the way i already had half a mind to pangseh them cos it was pouring/flooding all around singapore so i thought it wouldn't be fun to, what, dry run the Amazing Race in the rain? more like wet run. -.o but i proved myself wrong while walking to the park with some of the committee people. :D it was FUN strolling in the rain, although i looked like a defeated soldier or something with my hair looking like Snape's(from Harry Potter). i remember the first game we tried out was Telematch. my gosh, Group 4 people were all sabotaged to play the game. actually it's an obstacle game; one has to do the usual turn-10-rounds thing and we tried it out with an umbrella. lols. then when you've spun yourself dizzy, you gotta run forwards to stack about 5 or 6 drink cans. if it falls you have to restack it. -_- then comes the crazy part- a shallow box filled with white flour has got small bits of straw sticking out of it. put your face down and get the straw with your mouth and a faceful of flour. :( the last obstacle is milo tins. two milo tins strung with rope- something like this hideous picture here :D

everything was fun. yongshen was irritating me by counting the numbers so damn slowly so i got up and tried to whack him with the umbrella. hahahs. XD aft that was the Amazing Race tryouts. the Plate Smashing was easy because people like san san, shirlyn and i could remember what we did during the meeting at pc a few days back. we were 3 minutes ahead of the other group but they seemed to have finished before us.. i don't know. a bit confused. we spun the Wheel of Fortune at part 2 of the game and we had Three Pointers and Zero Point. Zero Point was nice :D

my adidas superstars gave me major problems again. while running during the Amazing Race, the damned shoes kept biting me at the heels so much, the huge blisters that were formed bled like hell. i only realised that i was bleeding at my feet while bending down during the Pass the Rubber Band game. --" alice jie helped me clean the wound and since the tissues were antiseptic, i yelled and half the people came staring. D: oops. i guess i shall wear my folded-down converse denim hightops next time; save the pain and the hassle. rawr. :(

at around 5-ish, the games ended. we went to toa payoh shopping ctr, which was nearby, together but split up into various groups. san san, nina, alice and sherlyn jie went to take 88, yongjie and i to take the mrt while the rest went to eat. stupid kangwei and weichuan kept trying to pull at my zip earrings! grrrr. -.- yongjie and i had a great time trying to keep our 1000kg-heavy eyelids up and surrendered when we got seats in the train. zzzzzzzz.

yesterday.

um, yesterday was quite okay i guess. WATCHED BRING IT ON! lolll; it was damn nice. aaron is such a bitch- sorry- bastard. the part where cliff started jamming with his electric guitar and squirming all over the floor was bloody gaoxiao :D. the cheers are pretty good; esp the starting. yeah, the one i've known since p5(or younger). I'M SEXAYYE! I'M CUTE! I'M POPULAR TO BOOT!. *hurls*

after watching bring it on, went for choir practice @ 1plus. the mr thomas manhart dude taught us for today. most of us were damn confused about our parts- and he made us do weird stuff- weirder than mr lai's interesting concotions- like grabbing the tops of our head to go AAAHHHH!~. -.- and although he's a german, he spoke like mr thomas(one of the most famous teachers in nan hua :D). well, the name speaks for itself.. we were supposed to call him DR thomas but somehow he ended up being MR thomas. hahahs, nan hua's mr thomas' long lost twin! x) mr dr thomas' could go falsetto really well, almost just as good as mr lai. but mr lai is going away in september! *groans*. and going for perhaps at least a year or two. :'( evilll.

went to mum's office aft practice feeling full of cake. sch sponsored us cake and made us all wonder why they would give us cake instead of the dance people *raises eyebrows*. but was horrified when i reached btp. her office was CLOSED, for goodness' sake. so i took a detour 151 back to the nan hua bus stop and then 96 to the central, and mrt to aljunied. when i reached pc mum even SCOLDED me. zomgs, so inhumane. she knows(i think...) i have a limited allowance during the NEJHols, and NO phone. yeahhhh. my allowance SOMEHOW shrank in size and is really irregular these days. o.O

today

when i woke up at SIX-TEN AM today, i had half a mind not to go for ndp rehearsal... and the damned thing starts at SIX-FIFTY! so i was practically flying from my house to sch. my maid woke up late today, see, but i didn't exactly blame her cos i slept like a log too. :) ndp rehearsal suckkkkkked today. they kept us back for, like, almost an hour later than the usual time we were supposed to be let off. everyone was complaining and mr loh, the dance instructor for the tap-dancers etc started comparing us to the Rulang kids performing martial arts during the ndp itself. they were there for rehearsal, just like us. yeong lan, qishan and i had fun sitting at the running track and picking bits of the "ammunition"(named by qishan) and throwing one another with it. :D lols, lunatics!

i suffered another injury again today. um, other than my usual asthma attacks. grace was walking with her flag sticking out backwards and somehow she started moving/ waving it, so the flagpole went smashing straight on my forehead. it hurt so much i shouted abuse. :( grrrrrrr. now a small bump is slowly forming, and if anyone's going to touch me between my eyebrows sometime soon, i ensure him/her/it a bloody nose and a broken arm.

today was pretty okay. was suppoed to go to mum's office with her, but she had to pass a maid to one of her employers who opened a clinic at tanjong pagar. next to the clinic, coincidentally, WAS THAT MUFFIN SHOP!

we dropped by to get some, but only managed 4 since the muffins were best eaten pipin' hot and it woulda have turned cold if we brought them home. mum and i tried the blueberry. i guess it wasnt really that fantastic.. the CHEESE one was better. :) cheryl jiejie recommended cheese flavour to me. YUM! the first time i ate the cheese muffin i was terribly disappointed cos it was pure plain during the first bites. but later on when you're about 3/4 full of "cheese" muffin, you suddenly realise something. the cheese is embedded inside, and i almost fainted when i saw how huge the chunk of cheese was. Jerry the mouse would have fainted with happiness. XD *licks lips*

at around 1 plus i returned to office and did the usual: rot and do homework and revision and maths and chem and rotted again. :( mum and i were singing songs for hours, since she had her ohwhatever songs she loves on her comp now- kiss goodbye, forever love, and not to mention her you yi tian wo hui by joi cai. PLEASE. she could replay that song for 5 times in a row and screech it at the top of her voice everytime. MYGOSH. it's irritating. one fine day when she turns on her lagging comp and iTunes, she suddenly realised her darling you yi tian wo hui is GONE. and all thanks to ME. YAYYE. :D

i shall seriously consider doing that :)

at 4pm mum and i left office to go orchard hotel's Aromatic House- mum had this appointment there and i was supposed to go along too. apparently those Aromatic staff kept asking her to sign packages and she is left with quite alot of remaining money to use up before the deadline arrives. she wanted me to go for the facial but i didn't like it, and she snapped at me so... oh wells. the stupid guy was infuriating. the people working at the Aromatic House Holland V branch said i could go for the facials, but the guy at the Orchard Hotel one said i was under 18 and hence it wasn't allowed. what a waste of my time.. idiotic. -.-

i ended up walking to Orchard mrt station by myself. :( but i went to taka to get some food to eat first before going to pc for the Family Day dry run meeting thing. gorged myself with chocolate milk tea with pearls. (YUM AGAIN! :D) then cheeseballs with mustard and not forgetting my TAKO PACHI HAM AND CHEESE! lols, i seem to have ate lots of cheesey stuff today :DD

i was at orchard mrt station and something quite funny happened there. XD i was looking at the board and trying to trace the route to aljunied mrt when this middle-aged guy came up to me to ask me to do some survey. the survey was quite lame, consisting of strange questions like "what car would you like best?" and choices like BMW, Ferrari, and lots of other sexy cars. i was sorely tempted to tick everything but dropped the idea when he was being irritating by staring at my answers. lol quite rude. -_-"

but the funniest thing was the Particulars part. they asked for my name, age, DOB, email and mobile. i put just my english name, a correct birthday but crossed out email and put a fake age and mobile. not really fake mobile anyway, but my mobile is not in use anymore. as in, i can't recieve calls and messages and can't call out or sms out anymore. so it's kinda dead, to be precise. i put my age as 16. haha! he totally believed it. that guy was like, "you're going on 17 this year, right?" D:

met shirlyn at pc and we went down to coffeeshop aft evening gongyo. then san san came along and joined us for dinner. not me; i already ate at taka. but they talked and i listened and stoned while they ate. :) went up and did 1/2 daimoku-cum-short gongyo and went for meeting at 3rd level.

the meeting was damn funny. the guy wearing the blue adidas( whats his name? san san said "idontknow" so i took it as his name D:) was making us crack up. all of us saw the questions for the game Plate Smashing! lols, so many maths questions. and got ALGEBRA! hahahs i love algebra (don't faint). the best part was the rubberbands and dry run for the zero point and rubberband game. meeting ended at 9 plus and me, yongjie kor, shirlyn and kangwei went to mrt tgt. it was when i was chatting with yongjie kor, then realised that... I. AM. SO. LAG!

after knowing yongjie kor by sight, i didn't realise that he was JESSICA'S BROTHER. he said some stuff that sounded like what jess said to me before, like the house designer they had thanks to my mum's recommendation during our new home renovation. he was like, "we havethe same home designer right!" and i'm like "sounds strangely familiar..." o.O haha. but i had fun talking to yongjie kor :)

the best thing was. i didn't know shirlyn and kangwei were tgt! they were walking to the mrt with us, but yongjie walked next to me and he seemed to keep a distance from them two so i followed suit. we were talking in the mrt and then at outram park interchange kangwei alighted with shirlyn. i was asking if kangwei and shirlyn lived near one another, but yongjie kor was like super nonchalant- he jsut told me kangwei wanted to send shirlyn home. my reaction was O.O D:

i cried like hell at the end of the show, starting from the part Jerry stole $500 to buy an hour of his father's time. adults don't realise that they CAN find the time, but they are the LAZY ones that think things their kids participate in are unimportant. only the trash you see in the bloody report book is the most important to them, apparently. i am disappointed.

when huang yiliang "died", i cried. when the narrator gave a speech about how people OUGHT TO RECEIVE MORE ENCOURAGEMENT, (esp. kids), i howled. my mum offered to get books about mental derilium. my dad couldn't be bothered and went to sleep. :(

today was the usual boring shiat. went to IMM with mum in the morning to do registered post at Singapore Post, then to eat brunch at some Hong Kong delicacy place. afterwards we went to an employer's home to pass a passport. then to King Albert Park to borrow dvds, I Not Stupid 2 and BRING IT ON! (: then balik office. that was all for the day. really. just stuck myself in the office as usual to do trash work and get badgered by ah dict (though i have to admit that he was quite a company, but not when i'm trying to draw an atomic structure for popcorn and hello panda Sodium Chloride. NACl. right right right??!?! :DDD

mum doesnt realise my only 3 forms of entertainment in the whole world are:

1. rubbishing around for a bit in class. of course she doesn't realise this! or my she'd probably do a.. um, free tongue piercing for me.
2. blogging. she knows about this, i think. she knows i blog. but she doesn't even know that blogs can be viewed by anyone who knows your blog URL. and everytime she asks what blogging is and i tell her "online diary", she goes "DO FOR WHAT! WASTE TIME! READ YOUR CHEMISTRY OR DO MORE MATHS! well, she's not the one doing it... and it's for my OWN GOOD! XD
3. shopping? this is okay. but only get to go on certain weekends, or sometimes the NEHols. but everytime she buys something for me, there'd be a complimentary 15-minutes long nagging service FOC. please expect things like, "i buy things for you, you must go home and do 1000000000000 pages of assessment!". oh i mean. "when would you be good? i hope you would be just half as good as judith/sheryl/yeong lan! i'm satisfied already!"

but she has to understand everyone is different. there is aboslutely NO use in telling her this kind of things. she always defends herself, and most of the time she goes twisting and turning whatever i say until it's my fault. the next time she complains about losing her diamond-studded underwear, i shall be the prime suspect, no doubt. maybe the reason is because... because... beause i felt like wearing it! lalala because sexy people wear sexy underwear!

the dvd rental shop was quite a disappointment.. :( the rental prices were expensive and the woman was bloody rude, so we went to another nearby shop to check prices. i stood there to watch I Not Stupid 2 which was screening there free of charge. hahahs. the part where huang yi liang told joshua ang I Love You and joshua ang dropped the cooking pot, this little kid next to me started hooting with laughter and so did i. lols, quite gaoxiao. :)
