today was quite okay, just that mr ng came in at 2pm to distribute the CT maths papers back. he spoilt my day, in a bad way.

during recess i had a nasty shock. i was in the drinks queue with qishan, and SURPRISE SURPRISE i saw justin cutting the queue again. he ALWAYS has to cut the queue, and he ALWAYS has to appear right in front of me. but today, instead of yelling at him like what i usually do, i stared at him. he took one look at me and went, "eh, your hair very nice leh."

i stared even more.

but anyway, i've seriously got to get a book or something, to record down what people have said about my hair and of course, the number of times people exclaim to me, "omg amanda you cut hair ah!". tch, it's weird, when the answer is staring right in your face. people who have said that i look better with braids sticking out of my head include mr ng and yeonglan so far. yeonglan's different, of course. she wants long hair cos her idol happens to be that rainie yang, and rainie yang happens have a huge head of bush that falls right below her chest level, i guess. i hate her fringe, by the way. mr ng was like all, "...and amanda, what happened to your hair?", the same as what he said to gladys when she chopped off her braids too.

went for the ultimately boring talk about the self awareness thingy after school. i sat between yeonglan and qishan, who were just as stony as me. entertained qishan with the bushy eyebrows joke for quite a while and stared into space for the rest of the time. the only interesting part was when the speaker touched on blogging. he showed us print-screen shots of blogs with undesirable negative content, and one of them was mr brown. that totally reminded me of xiangwen, who spends half our time conversing talking about mr brown. (i don't know if it's the same person though). another blog was filled with uncensored vulgarities which the boys at the back gleefully pointed out and read out promptly. -.- the last one was xiaxue.blogspot. i've been to her blog once and never went back again- the content is very -_-.

qishan's mum gave yeonglan and i back to our homes after the talk. she's pretty cool, really. haha. she asked about the contents of the talk and i told her, "self awareness". her response was laughable. she claimed that the looks on our faces explained it all- if the talk was about sexuality, she guaranteed us a 1o1% that we would all stand up to give the speaker a standing ovation after the talk. she was very nice, too- she treated us to fries and didn't make a fuss when we made lots of noise in the car. :) lol.

i'm currently reading Avalon High. i finished All American Girl today during recess, and managed to survive through yeonglan's lectures about reading during mealtimes. Avalon High's a pretty interesting book, but i want the second book of the series All American Girl instead. T.T

i had the second shockofmylife today when i came out of the bath and saw my dinner sitting on the dining table. the scary thing was the contents of it all. it was swedish meatballs, but the potatoes sitting next to it looked like the entire stock of potatoes NTUC had in their stores.
